Hybrid Pools — Steel Strength, Resin Finish
The best of both materials, a steel wall structure with resin top rails and uprights that won't rust, fade, or need repainting.
Why Hybrid
Built Like Steel. Holds Up Like Resin.
A hybrid pool combines a steel wall for structural rigidity and strength with resin components at the top rails, uprights, and frame. The result is a pool that holds up like steel but doesn't show the wear.
Resin doesn't rust, corrode, or need periodic refinishing, which means the parts that take the most sun and weather exposure stay looking good year after year. The steel wall underneath does what steel does best, holds the structure square and stable through every season.
For families who want the durability of steel with lower long-term maintenance, a hybrid is the practical middle ground. You get the rigid wall structure you'd expect from a traditional steel pool, paired with the weather-resistant top components that keep the pool looking new.
Both of our hybrid models — Costa Del Sol and Emotion — carry a lifetime structural warranty and four years of full coverage. That's one of the strongest warranty packages we carry, and it reflects the manufacturer's confidence in the build.
Come into the showroom, and we'll show you both side by side. They share the same construction quality, but the look is genuinely different, easier to decide once you see them in person.

Common Questions
What's the difference between a hybrid and a full resin pool?
A hybrid has a steel wall with resin rails and uprights. A full resin pool has resin throughout — wall panels, uprights, and top rails. Both resist corrosion better than traditional steel, but full resin offers maximum rust resistance in high-humidity or saltwater environments. We'll walk you through the tradeoffs based on your specific situation.
Will the resin components fade or crack over time?
Quality resin is UV-stabilized and holds its color well over time. It won't rust or corrode, and it doesn't require the periodic touch-up that painted steel components sometimes need.
Are hybrid pools more expensive than steel?
Generally, yes — the resin components add some cost. But the reduced maintenance over time often makes up the difference. Come in and we'll compare the full picture with you.
When does a hybrid pool liner need to be replaced?
Vinyl liners typically last 7–10 years with proper care. When the time comes, we stock a wide selection of liners for both above-ground and inground pools and can help you find the right fit for your model and size. Come in and we'll walk you through the options.
