All pool openings require pre-payment. Payment is due before services are rendered.
Important — please read before scheduling
Before our crew arrives:
All pools must be filled to normal operating level (mid-way up the skimmer). Please remove all water and debris — including leaves — from your pool cover before your scheduled date.
Any return trip required due to improper water level or debris on the cover will be charged at $75 per half hour. This is the most common reason for delays — please plan ahead.

Delivered free on your scheduled opening day. All bundle prices include sales tax. Bundles take the guesswork out of first-of-season chemistry and save you a separate trip to the store.
Pool Opening FAQ
When should I open my pool in Maryland?
The ideal window for Anne Arundel County is late March through early May, when daytime temps consistently hit 70°F. Pools that sit closed into June are significantly harder to treat and balance. April is our busiest month. Book early.
Do you open both above-ground and in-ground pools?
Yes. We service both above-ground and in-ground pools throughout Pasadena and Anne Arundel County. In-ground openings are $499; above-ground are $399. Both include the full standard service checklist, including algaecide and shock.
What if my pool water is green when you arrive?
Green water at opening is common after a Maryland winter. Our standard opening includes algaecide and shock. For severe algae, additional treatment may be required. Bring a water sample into our Pasadena store after opening, and we'll run a free computerized test and give you a precise treatment plan.
Do I need to have my pool filled before you arrive?

Can I get chemicals delivered on opening day?
Yes — that's exactly what the Spring Chemical Bundle Sale is for. Choose a bundle when you submit your opening request, and we'll deliver it free on your scheduled opening day. Bundles range from $299.99 to $499.99 and include chlorine, shock, algaecide, and alkalinity increaser.
What areas do you serve?
We serve Pasadena and communities throughout Anne Arundel County — including Severna Park, Glen Burnie, Annapolis, Arnold, and surrounding areas. Pool opening and closing services are generally within a 15–20 mile radius of our store at 8195 Ritchie Hwy.
