Why Resin

No Metal. No Rust. No Repainting.

A full resin pool is built entirely from high-density polymer components — walls, uprights, top rails, and frame. There's no metal to rust, no paint to chip, and no corrosion to manage regardless of your climate, water chemistry, or how close you are to salt air.

Resin pools are a particularly strong choice for families who want a low-maintenance pool that holds up for the long term without periodic refinishing. There's nothing to repaint, no rust spots to chase, and no scheduled touch-up work — the pool you set up this year is the pool you'll look at a decade from now.

It also handles environment extremes more gracefully than metal. Resin doesn't expand and contract through Maryland's freeze–thaw cycle the way steel can, and it's unaffected by humidity, salt systems, or aggressive water chemistry — a real advantage in a coastal climate.

Resin Pools — FAQs

Common Questions

Is resin really better than steel for resisting rust?

Yes. There's no metal in the wall or frame components to oxidize. In humid climates like Maryland's, where pools see wet springs and seasonal freezes, resin holds up particularly well over the long term. You won't see the surface corrosion or paint chipping that occasionally shows up on older steel installations.

Can I get a resin pool in a large size?

Yes. Several of our resin models go up to 30' round or 18' × 39' oval — among the larger options we carry across any material type. If you have a bigger yard and want real swim space, the Milano, Grey Paintbrush, Grey Sapphire, and St. Lauren all offer that 18' × 39' configuration.

How does resin hold up to Maryland winters?

Well. Resin is resistant to temperature fluctuations and doesn't expand and contract the way metal can. Proper winterization is still important — we offer pool closing services and will walk you through the right protocol for your specific pool.

How do I know when my liner needs replacing?

The most common signs are visible fading, brittle or cracking material, or a leak that can't be patched. Liners typically last 7–10 years. We stock replacements in multiple patterns and sizes for both above-ground and inground pools — bring in your pool model and dimensions and we'll find the right fit.
